The Ministry of Environment is organizing the 2026 International Environmental Issues and Education (IEIE) Workshop to promote environmental education and youth engagement in sustainable development across the Asia-Pacific region.
Since 2020, the program has attracted 159 students from 40 countries. Centered on the themes of “Inspire, Create, and Practice,” the workshop aims to enhance participants’ understanding of Taiwan’s environmental education initiatives and encourage the application of Taiwan’s experiences to local environmental challenges in their home countries.
This year’s workshop will focus on sustainability, circular economy, food waste reduction, and environmental action practices in Taiwan.

[Eligibility]
Priority will be given to students from Asia-Pacific countries currently studying in Taiwan who have not participated in this workshop before. Local students and young people interested in environmental education are also welcome to apply.
